Kimberly Samon, Chief Executive Officer

Kimberly Samon is a five time Chief People Officer who brings deep experience at public, private equity-owned, and fully private organizations in strategic planning, LEAN, process improvement, PMO leadership, organizational design, employee engagement, labor and employment law, compensation, mergers & acquisitions integration, talent and succession management, strategy deployment and performance management, HRIS design and implementation, executive coaching, internal communications and employment branding. 

 As President & Chief Executive Officer of KSL Advisory Services, a corporate strategy/human resources consulting firm, Kimberly serves in various leadership roles for clients. She most recently served as Interim Chief Administrative Officer responsible for the People & Culture and Legal functions for Fareportal, a global travel technology company, and prior to this served as a fractional Chief People Officer for MediaMath, an advertising technology company, where she drove the people transformation from late stage start-up to a mature, scalable organization.   

 In other positions through KSL Advisory Services, Kimberly has led organizational redesigns, designed compensation and equity programs, developed salesforce strategies, provided advice and counsel to leadership teams and Boards on sensitive people matters, evaluated executive compensation arrangements for potential private equity investments, coached CEOs on transition to Chairman roles, advised on global restructuring initiatives, and has served as labor and employment counsel for clients such as PulsePoint, Lumanity, and Consumer Reports. 

 Kimberly’s corporate experience includes holding the top People & Culture positions at WW International, Serta Simmons Bedding, HQ Global Workplaces (now HQ/Regus) as well as senior roles at Kinkos Inc. (now FedEx Office) and Lacerte Technologies Inc., and various People & Culture roles at The Frito-Lay Company (part of PepsiCo), GTE (now Verizon), and Philip Morris Companies, Inc. (now Altria). Earlier in her career, Kimberly was Co-Founder & Partner for W. Edwin Litton LLC, a general practice law firm specializing in corporate, labor and employment matters, where she advised clients on labor and employment matters.  

Kimberly earned a Juris Doctor at Stetson University College of Law, a Master of Business Administration at Mercer University School of Business & Economics and a Bachelor of Science at Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations. Kimberly has two adult children and lives in New York City.  She is an avid traveler, chef, wine enthusiast, fitness buff and amateur novelist and screenwriter.  She loves a good business or real estate rehab and making something spectacular out of the ordinary.
